How to refurbish an Outdoor Fountain

My mother had a beautiful outdoor fountain that the base  slowly deteriorated over time. It was made of resin and broke down so it could no longer be used.  The pump of the fountain was still good as was the bowl of the fountain.  Not sure what to do with it the fountain sat in her flower bed looking like this for years.

She was given this green pot and it too needed something done with it but it didn’t match any of her other pots.

She took the green pot and drilled a hole in the back of the pot for the fountain cord she then found some old spray paint she had out in the garage and spray painted the pot .

She cleaned up the bowl of the fountain and since it was heavy enough she just set it on top of the pot. If you wanted it heavier you could always fill the pot with rocks or some sort of weight. Once the pot was dry she placed the bowl on top of the pot and filled it with water, plugged it in and look how pretty it turned out!
