“Rootin Tootin” Christmas gift bundle idea for men

It’s that time of year when we want to show appreciation for our neighbors, friends, and co-workers with the perfect Gift. Often I find myself stumped on what to get and give to male co-workers. Ladies are easy to figure out lotion, crafts, or chocolate are easy and many ladies like and appreciate these gifts. Those darn men are hard to buy for, even my own husband is hard to buy for. Then throw a budget in the mix and that makes it more difficult.

  I recently came across craftymorning blog and she had a darling idea for a funny “Rootin Tootin Christmas Gift Bundle” Christmas gift idea.  I loved the idea and what man doesn’t like food?

I knew it would be perfect to get for male bosses at mine and my husband’s work.  I took the craftymornings ideas but made it a little larger and added a few things.  Her idea had a small can of root beer and a can of baked beans.  I was planning on giving these to my bosses so I knew I needed to do a little more than a single can of root beer and a can of baked beans.   I ended up making mine into a gift bundle.  The idea I had was they could make a bean dip and eat it with chips while they drink root beer.

To make the “Rootin Tootin” gift bundle you will need:

1 can refried beans

1 can of diced tomatoes with chili’s

1 bag of tortilla chips

1 2 liter bottle of Root Beer

To package my “Rootin Tootin” gift bundle I cut large pieces of cellophane and placed all of the ingredients in the center of the cellophane.  I pulled the edges and sides of cellophane to the top and then tied a piece of jute to hold it in place.  I added additional ribbons and the “Rootin Tootin” Christmas tag that I printed from craftymorning.
