Ruffled Skirt

When I was up in Idaho visiting my mother on of her friends told us about this really cute new ruffled fabric that had come in to a little store there in their town. So we headed in to take a look and I was in love.. This fabric was the perfect length and width to do some skirts for my daughters without having to do much hemming or cutting and there were so many fun colors to choose from.

You don’t even have to hem this fabric! Gather the fabric at the waist, sew up the side, add the elastic for the waist and you are done! cute and simple.

We made a trial skirt with the floral design that Maeli picked then got enough fabric to make 4 more skirts my daughters and niece for my brother in law’s wedding in August! I’ll make sure to get all 4 girls together and post pictures.

My mind is racing with all that you could do with this cute cute fabric!! Thanks mom once again for all you do and taking the time to teach me how to sew
