Sarcastic Welcome board

I wanted to make a fun little handmade gift for a few of my fellow crafty friends. I had found this fun little quote a while back and knew I wanted to use it on some kind of craft project. I know this saying has nothing to do with Mothers’ Day. I love quirky quotes and although it may not even be welcoming it made me laugh! I know at some point in time all of us have felt this way!! I decided to paint up several different sizes of boards. Just some random stuff I had laying around. I painted them all cream to start with then the fun came into play as I decided to do stripes and polka dots over the top of the cream paint. I made a template on my silhouette for the polka dot back ground. Then I began taping off and painting each board. I used an assortment of pinks, teal, mint and gold paint.

Even just having the boards painted with stripes and polka dots without any wording on them I was in love! I designed out how I wanted the saying to look using my sure cuts a lot program. It turned out so fun! I was going to offer this as a free cut file. I saved it and as I went to upload it on here but it said my file was corrupt! I wanted to cry!! Sorry I couldn’t share but if I figure it out I will definitely upload it! To finish these off I cut my wording and design onto multiple colors of vinyl and applied them onto the boards. I think all my crafty friends will get a kick out of these! I’ll be sporting mine on my front porch! Don’t be offended if you drop by.
