Seas the Day sign

Last summer  I started making beach themed décor for my house and front porch.  I was really excited to pull out the beach décor and getting my summer mood flowing.  Some how I thought I had made more beach themed décor, when I pulled out my summer bins and only had a few items to put out.  My porch looked bare!  I couldn’t remember what else I had paired with the beach items I made last year.  I set out on a mission to add a few more pieces to my beach décor.  I have been seeing all of these fun beach themed phrases on all kinds of summer décor.  The first on that caught my attention was this “Seas the Day” phrase.  You know how I love a good wood block sign!  I decided to keep this one pretty simple.  I cut a board 7″ by 11″ and then painted it this brilliant blue color.  Then I gave it a really good sanding so, you could see the wood grain texture through the paint.  I cut the wording “Seas the Day” in white vinyl using my personal cutting machine.  I centered and applied the vinyl onto the board.  I also Modpodged over top of the board after it was all done.

I have had a lot of my vinyl coming off of signs I have made, just making sure it will last.  Here are a few other fun beach themed phrases I have found and want to place on boards “Sea la via”  “I need a little vitamin sea” .  Which beach quotes will you add to your summer décor this year?
