St. Patrick’s Day Burlap & Ribbon Table Runner

I seriously think that we have done more St. Patrick’s crafting this year than we did Valentine’s! Oh my it’s been so fun! We have been on a Table Runner spree since last summer and we are here to show you another cute table runner we came up with.

Once again the soft burlap has come in handy. This burlap was just a rectangle piece measuring 3′ long (the length of the yard) by 15″ wide. You can see a tutorial Here for our Summer table runner or Here for our 4th of July table runner.  Once you have cut the material you’ll want to surge around the edges like we did. If your table is longer or shorter you can adjust your fabric to the perfect size you would like.

First of all we picked a green colored fabric to go down the center of the burlap and ruffled it on the machine as we went. We doubled the length of the runner for the fabric strip down the center and it was 4″ across in width. Once the fabric was stitched down the center we picked a patterned ribbon to sew on top of the green ruffled ribbon.

This table runner is a little shorter for a long table. The good thing is that when making this you can adjust it to the size that you would like for your own table! I love to add a touch of color to my home that is based around the season or closest holiday. This was a perfect addition to my St. Patrick’s day decor. Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s day?
