I love Shanty 2 Chic and all their creative wood projects. The plans are easy to follow by using this tutorial on making floating shelves. Although, changing the dimensions on our shelves. Repurposing an old door for the front porch
I obtained this old door through a friend’s friend. Ha-ha! That probably sounds a little confusing but somehow it ended up at my house and I thought to myself “This has potential”. Although, I didn’t know what I would end up doing with it once I got it all done I knew it would still be darling! First, I wiped and sanded the entire door down then wiped it again. This project is definitely one that is fun for summer! Check out these Bee Happy wood Signs with an Emphasis on the “Bee” part. Bee’s are fun to decorate the home with especially if they are Honey Bee’s. I’ve seen a lot of bee décor pop up over the past few years and thought it would be fun to jump on board. Using any type of wood is fine for this project you will just need a saw to cut the octagon shape. Using any other shape will work too but we think the Octagon was something unique and different. The size of the sign is also up to the…
