Hello Winter metal wall craft
Winter is in full force at my house and the ground is covered in snow! After the holidays I tend to get the “blues” so a few years ago I decided it was time to add some Winter type decor to my home. Of course in the color blue! This Hello Winter metal Wall craft will surprise you at how easy it is and how cheaply it can be made. Last fall we made a Hello Fall one identical to this but instead put Hello Fall and embellished it in fall colors. You can see a more detailed post about it HERE. In the post I just linked to you…

Snow Day Winter Home Decor Sign
As I changed my home decor at the beginning of January from Christmas to Winter grays, blue, and white decor. I noticed that I don’t have many decor items to put up and my house almost looks baron for a crafter! Sometimes its hard to know how to decorate for in between seasons. I’m always creating and adding new pieces to my seasonal decor. We came up with the idea to create a Snow Day Winter Home Decor Sign to add to our January decor. Like many of our other projects any scrap wood, vinyl, and paint will make creating this project quick and simple. To create your own Snow Day Winter…

Tall and are 1 & 1/2 ft. wide We flipped them over and added pine to the backs of the board. They are extra sturdy! The theme we used for this idea was “Life Lesson’s from a Snowman” I know there are several other version’s of this rolling around the internet but this…

DIY – Flakes and Flurries Winter Wood Sign
January is blue.. Literally I take down all the Christmas Decorations and I feel a little bit of a let down that all the beautiful décor is gone. Last year I made it a goal to decorate in winter, snowflake, snowmen and ice skating themed crafts to keep my spirits up. It helped a lot last year to have new colorful decorations to put up after the hype of Christmas was over. It’s been fun incorporating different hues of blue and aqua colors into my home during the month of January. I’ve loved watching all the Flakes and Flurries come down from the sky so that too helps me enjoy Winter…

Snowflake picture stand “Frosty’s Baby Picture”
Snowflake picture stand “Frosty’s Baby Picture” I love the idea of Frosty’s baby picture. I saw this idea on Pinterest yet the one I saw was a block of wood with a simple snowflake painted on and a caption below the snowflake that said Frosty’s baby picture. For this project I chose to make a layered picture frame stand. To make this I used a candle stick, a thick 4×6 frame and a decorative craft frame found at Michael’s. I painted my regular frame and candle stick white the decorative craft frame blue and added glitter. Next, I glued the decorative craft frame on top of the regular frame, and…
