Storage style Alexia Bench with drawers
Let’s take a little blast to the past. How about October of 2014 to be exact when I found the plans of a darling little storage style bench with drawers online and I just had to make it! It’s been 3 1/2 years since this storage style bench was made and still to this day I get asked about it all the time. First off if you know anything about me at all you’ll know that I am not good at watching tutorials. Why? Mainly because I can’t stand doing things how other’s do things. I am me! I like to do it my way. Give me a set of plans and…

DIY Fall Pumpkin Harvest and polka dot painted birch logs
This has to be one of my all time favorite crafts that I have made to date. It is a classy statement piece. Pair the large pumpkin with a smaller birch log pumpkin and these Harvest pumpkins can be displayed from September through November. Perfect for Halloween, Fall and Thanksgiving. First gather your round birch bases – Luckily we scored these from an awesome neighbor who had a lot sitting by the side of her house. She was kind enough to part with them! Each log is cut into a 4″ thick slab. The dimensions around the flat surface of the log are approx. 12″ to 14″. So you can…

Summertime Grow flower sign using dishes
One of my favorite ways to decorate and present my home is by adding fun signs to my porch and patio. With summer gardening upon us, I found this idea for a Summertime grow dish board. I love the combination of the plate flower used as the letter “o” in the word grow. Over at Wendy’s make n take you can pay for a kit or class to make this sign. I love the idea but the size of sign she was offering is rather large. I decided to create my own and make a smaller version. To create your own Summer Time grow dish board you will need: 2…

Not only because of the 4th of July but also because we celebrate Pioneer day on the 24th of July. Pioneer day is a state holiday in Utah and is treated much like the 4th of July so for us it isn’t over after the 4th.. our patriotic month is only beginning. We tend to craft Patriotic crafts all month long! If you are one of our awesome followers you might remember back in February when we made this fun Ombre’…

DIY “Beach Time” Round Door hanger Tutorial
While looking through Pinterest I saw this darling clock that said “On beach time”. The clock didn’t have any hands on it and I loved the thought of it. Knowing it would be a perfect addition to my beach themed porch! As I backed out of my drive way that same day I noticed the Round monogrammed sign hanging on my door! It was like fireworks went off!!! There was nothing on the backside of my round monogrammed initial! The next day I called Avry and told her to come over and bring her round board with her. We painted them a light blue color and white washed over top of it. We sanded…
