“Thankful for Neighbors” Pumpkin bread

Thankful for Neighbors pumpkin bread

I have some really wonderful neighbors!  I am realizing that I don’t let them know how great they are very often!  Over the weekend I decided to make a few batches of  mini pumpkin bread to take to my amazing neighbors.  I used this pumpkin bread recipe and added chocolate chips to it.   Next I headed over to Google to find the perfect tag to let my neighbors know  how thankful I am for them.  I downloaded the free tags from best design options, she has a wonderful variety.   While the bread continued to bake.  I cut a few strips of fall patterned scrapbook paper at 3″ by 12″.  After my mini pumpkin bread pans cooled, I put them in a clear cellophane bag and tied them with a green ribbon.  Next I wrapped the scrapbook paper strip around the center of the bread and taped on the back of the clear bag.  Last I cut out and taped on the Thankful for neighbors tag I had printed.   I was such a fun little treat to deliver to our neighbors.  Sometimes we can’t give a large gift but, the packaging says it all!  We care about you dear neighbors and friends!
