The Grinch Wood & Vinyl Plaque

I saw a post from a friend on Facebook this past week asking how many people really create the things they pin on Pinterest.  Wow, it was amazing for me to go back and see how many craft, recipe and sewing ideas I have gotten from Pinterest.  Yes, folks I am here to say I actually create a lot of what I see in Pinterest.  But, don’t let that fool you my list keeps getting longer and longer!   I saw this Grinch Plaque on Pinterest a few months ago and decided to click on the link to find out more about this cute craft.  I ended up on an Etsy page Everlastingdoodle where I found the lady was selling it for around $48.00  I was dying to have one but of course cannot spend that kind of money on something I know I can create!  This took some time and thought though and I realize why she charged as much as she did.  I ended up making myself one and also one for my girlfriend.

Here is how mine turned out! Too cute isn’t it?? I used leftover wood we had some vinyl and of course paint!  I am in love with this! It is 8″ x 24″ and sits perched up on my hearth!
