This is How I Roll Bike Sign
With the summer coming to an end and school fast approaching I wanted to change my décor on my front porch. It was time to take down the patriotic décor but I didn’t want to put up my beach themed décor and It is just way to early to bring out my fall stuff! Thinking of school starting I thought about how much I enjoy riding my bike. Always loving the bike décor and remembering a few years ago when I made this bike sign that I sometimes hang in between seasons. I decided to use the bike board I already had and add a few more pieces to help finish off my look.
To make your own This is how I roll bike sign, you will need:
1 12″ by 12″ cut board
Paint (your choice in color)
vinyl ( I used black and teal)
Mod Podge
Ribbon
Tools:
Personal cutting machine
paint brushes
Bike cut file
You will start by painting your 12″ by 12″ board the color of your choice, I painted my board a coral color. While your painted board dries you will cut the wording” This is how I Roll” 9″ wide by 3″ tall in black vinyl using your personal cutting machine. Then cut your bike design 6″ wide by 6 1/2″ tall in your choice of colored vinyl (I used teal). After your painted board is completely dry center towards the top of your board the black wording vinyl and apply. Then center your bike design below the wording and apply. Next I painted a layer of Mod Podge over top of my board. Last I cut an 18″ length of ribbon and glued the 2 ends to the top of my board to hand it from.
