Trendy Christmas Count down block

Round 2 of count down’s for me this year. In an earlier post we made Vintage count down boards for our local women’s shelter. My son has weekly visit’s at a Dr’s office. The staff that the clinic are amazing. What 9 year old would actually like going to get weekly shots? Well mine does! I know it is because of the awesome nurses and ladies who work there. They call my son the office boyfriend! Anytime we find a reason to do something for these ladies, we are on it. For Christmas, I made them each a count down board. I saw the cute saying on a count down canvas at Michael’s craft store. I couldn’t pay the $40 each. I came home and re-created, my own smaller version on a block of wood. These were actually a quick and simple project. I painted 6 scrap wood boards cream. Then of course using my silhouette machine, choose different fonts for the saying and cut them in red vinyl. I cut the cute label out of chalk board vinyl.
