Trick or Treat block with Mini Banner

As you know I am really into the black and white color scheme for Halloween this year.  I have been finding quick and easy ways to create more black and white Halloween decor.  I love quick and easy projects that can be done with items that I already have on hand.  For this Trick or Treat block with Mini Banner I used leftover scrap wood, paint, and fabric scraps.  This project came together in a matter of minutes.  If you don’t have a large decorating budget or much time on your hands this is the perfect project for you!

To create your own Trick or Treat block with Mini Banner you will need:

Start by painting your piece of wood with white paint. While your painted board is drying, create a mini banner by cutting small strips of fabric and tie them to your piece of jute.  Use your personal cutting machine design and cut the wording “Trick or Treat” out of black vinyl.  After your painted board is dry apply the “Trick or Treat” vinyl to the center bottom of your board.  Hot glue your mini-banner across the top of the board.  Now you have a new quick and easy Halloween decoration to display.  What are your favorite Halloween colors?
