Valentine “Love” board

If you will remember I made this HOME board several years ago.  And I have had an extra frame kicking around for almost 2 years with the intentions of finishing it as a gift for someone else. Well that never happened so it sat, and sat and sat.  Until just last week I was eyeballing it and decided it would be cute for valentines!!

So I painted the frame and beadboard white. I had a left over O and E from my “Home” words so I only had to buy an L and a V from Hobby lobby to spell out “Love”

I painted the L, O and E all turquoise as I thought it would be fun to match my 6 ft. Valentine subway board

Then I painted the V in red and glittered it. To keep the glitter from falling off I mod podged over the top of the glitter.

Once the letters and the board were all dry I just glued the letters onto the beadboard with E6000 let it dry then hung it above my office door. Cute little touch – I think I may add a pennant banner to it!
