Valentines Hot Glue Wooden Framed Golden Heart – DIY
It is coming upon us – the month of Love. Even if you don’t have a significant other to celebrate it with you can still enjoy the holiday of Valentines by decorating in Hearts !
Last Summer Krystal and I made some darling little boards that had some wooden frames around the exterior of them. We used scrap pieces (of Course) of any wood we could find. We knew we wanted to put something fun in them but of course they got pushed aside for another day. Well, the day came when we dug deep into our scrap bins and found these cute little frames we had made.
Krystal painted the inside of the frame a cute aqua color while I drew a template of a heart on the back side of some wax paper. I then flipped the paper over and begun to trace the outline of the heart in hot glue from my hot glue gun. Once the hot glue dried I peeled it off of the wax paper and had a cute heart!
Krystal then took the hearts outside and sprayed them with a metallic gold spray paint.Once both the heart and the picture frame were dry we glued the gold glue heart into the middle of our cute little frames.
