Vintage Christmas Series “Vintage Nativity Makeover”
Vintage Christmas Series “Vintage Manger Makeover”
I found this Nativity set at a yard sale this summer, it cost a whole $2. But, lets be honest it needed some help! At $2 it was a steal. So, I snatched it up and brought it home. I have been loving the “fancy” vintage feel. I decided just to spray paint this whole set a simple white. Around 8 coats later, it was time for a little sparkle. You know how I love my glitter. I sprayed each piece and then coated them in glitter. For a few dollars in cheap spray paint and some glitter, I was able to turn this blah yard sale find; into one of my new favorite vintage decorations.

That is a really cool idea. I love the idea of making over holiday ornaments and decorations.

Wow, you really transformed the vintage manger into a beautiful decor piece. Grabbing it for $2 is a very good deal!

Why didn’t I think of that!? I’ve saw nativity sets similar to your before, but they weren’t my style so I passed them over. I won’t do that again! I love what you did with the set.

I love how it turned out! So cool looking. I need to make a manger for my set that I have. They don’t have one anymore!

I DO love it white much more than “in color”. You’ve updated it and the added glitter gives it a touch of fancy. Great job!

I think that’s the nativity my parents have! I LOVE how you made it all white – it’s beautiful!

OMGOSH your nativity set is a deadset duplicate of the one that has been passed down through my family over the past 40 years. I’ve had to remoss the Nativity and the paint is chipping on the figurines. I wonder I could come up with nerve to repaint mine.

I’m loving everything about this. My grandmother loves vintage decor.

I love that you were able to update the Nativity scene. I’d much rather rework something I already have than buy all new items.

I love what you did with it! It gives it such a classic feel.

Very timeless! The original looks like the nativity my folks had while I was growing up.

I love the all white/vintage look. Definitely something I’d like to try, never thought of making over any of my old sets.
