Wolf Mountain Ski Resort Review and Giveaway

Wolf Mountain Ski Resort Review and Giveaway!

This past week I had the opportunity to take my family snowboarding up to  Wolf Mountain Ski Resort for a bloggers day!  For anyone who is not familiar Wolf Mountain Ski Resort is located here in Utah approximately one hour from Salt Lake City and only 25 minutes from Ogden. So, it is very close for myself and my family! (You can find directions on their website)

We arrived around ten a.m. and were greeted by the most awesome staff ever! Everyone was so positive and kind.  They were there to answer any questions and moved us through the process rather quickly!

Even though my children have been snowboarding before the staff at Wolf Mountain offered us a free 90 minute lesson.

Because of lack of communication on my part they had my daughters on the schedule for a skiing not snowboarding lessons but were quick to accommodate us and next thing we knew Kyle (An instructor) was right at our side ready to teach the girls a few things. Here is a picture of their fun little ski school

My daughter Maeli worked with Kyle on her carving and by the end of the 90 minute lesson she had it down! Thanks Kyle! Wolf Mountain resort has an amazing Ski School and the mountain is perfect for a beginner to learn on!

Here is Maeli showing off her awesome snowboarding skills!

My husband and Son spent most of the morning exploring the resort and checking out their diamond runs. (Because they are the pro’s of the family) They tried out the Howling Wolf Double chair which is the mountain’s largest lift, reaching the most advanced trails. Barney’s Way, Dyer Straits, and Cougar Canyon are a few of the black diamond trails Wolf Mountain Resort offers
Here is a picture of my Son coming down the mountain! He loves this sport!

After a few hours on the hill my family was ready to eat! The newly rennovated lodge at Wolf Mountain has a wonderful eating area with a lot of different foods to choose from. They were fast to serve us and there was pleanty of seating for our family to enjoy our meal. We were able to talk with Sue who is a representative with Wolf Mountain and she told us the Lodge was an old Farming Barn that had been converted. She also told us of the rennovations that had been made and of some of the upcoming rennovations they have planned for this summer. The lodge looked very nice with new tiled floors and they had restored the natural beams which gave it a real lodge feel. They also have a rental area and a gift shop

Wolf Mountain provided a fun filled day for my family and I. My kids laughed their way through watching me try to snowboard but the resorts Magic Carpet is there to assist beginners up and down the bunny hill. Wolf Mountain Resort also boasts the best slopes in Utah for night skiing with the entire mountain lit up each evening so, if you can’t make it during the day check them out at night.

Wolf Mountain has offered one of my lucky readers to win 4 day passes to enjoy their resort some time before March 23, 2013. Fill out the rafflecopter below to win!
